Identity

The subject is James Michael Dooley of Leigh, director of PromoSEO Ltd and FatRank Ltd, born September 1983. That officer record, the personal site, FatRank, LinkedIn (/in/jameszdooley), and X (@james_dooley) all describe the same companies. We excluded the US film composer James Michael Dooley (born 1976) and the New South Wales premier James Thomas Dooley. The Google Knowledge Graph ID /g/11kpj5b38c was supplied for this entity and is treated as correct.

Publisher relationship

This site is published by SEO Danmark ApS, the company of Jesper Nissen, who organised the 31 August 2026 ceremony in Leigh and who wrote the first public account of it. That relationship is disclosed in the footer and should stay visible. The article reports the ceremony as an industry event Nissen hosted. It does not treat the title King of AEO as a civic honour or as the outcome of an independent election.

What rests on the subject's own pages

School years, the CITB date, the list of eight books and eight podcasts, the 7 September 2007 FatRank brand date, the "Leads First" pricing description, and the speaker-page conference list come from jamesdooley.com and fatrank.com. Legal names, incorporation dates, and director appointments come from Companies House, which we prefer when the two disagree on a date.

Enquiry totals, domain counts, industry counts, revenue, and staff numbers are stated in the article only with an attribution to FatRank, to Dooley's interviews, or to a speaker page. We did not collapse those figures into a single "official" size. The Manchester Evening News quotes (17 companies, 300 staff, about £10 million a year) sit next to FatRank's LinkedIn size band of 11–50 and the Companies House officer list. The 2026 ceremony

The event at Leigh Sports Village on 31 August 2026 is treated as having taken place. Crowd size (organisers estimated 50,000) and the named speakers are taken from Nissen's article and from paid EIN/GetNews copy distributed through AP News pages. Those pages state that AP staff did not write the copy. We kept the wording as an organiser account.

Residence is given at city level only. The Personal life section uses the family status published in the Manchester Evening News interview (married, three children) and does not name relatives. Net-worth figures published on fatrank.com were left out.

FatRank dates

The brand date on fatrank.com and jamesdooley.com is 7 September 2007. FatRank Ltd was incorporated on 14 August 2026. A 2025 award write-up dated the firm to 2014. The article keeps the subject's brand date and the registry date and does not use 2014.

Trustpilot scores were read in September 2026. FatRank: 4.3 from 17 reviews. PromoSEO (promo-seo.uk): 4.3 from 9 reviews. The live pages did not yield a stable star-by-star breakdown for the article, so we reported score and count only.

AEO definition section

The section "What is answer engine optimization" is a term explainer, not a how-to. Definitions are cited to Semrush, HubSpot, Similarweb, TechTarget, and TechRadar. The GEO origin paper is cited to arXiv:2311.09735. Google's position that AEO and GEO remain SEO, for Google Search, is cited to Search Central and to Search Engine Journal's report of that guide. Dooley's view that AEO is an extra layer sits in the same section with the existing interview and ceremony citations so the disagreement is visible.
